Marketing a book can be fun. I decided to ask my readers to post pictures of my book wherever they happen to be reading it. It didn’t matter if they were thousands of miles away or a continent away. The idea took off and many people took “Baker’s Dozen” on vacation and took photos with the book at iconic spots. It was a blast for my followers and for me to see where Lexi, the amateur sleuth and heroine of my book, ended up.
This marketing adventure took Lexi around the world. She’s been to France, Italy, Spain, Israel, Fiji, Germany, Ireland, Greece, the Caribbean and England.
In the United States she’s traveled to 38 states: Wisconsin, Colorado, Tennessee, Kentucky, Florida, Washington, Oregon, California, Idaho, Utah, Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, Montana, North Dakota, Washington, Iowa, Minnesota, Missouri, Louisiana, Texas, Indiana, Illinois, Kansas, Michigan, Ohio, New York, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, Georgia, North Carolina, Virginia, Washington D.C., New Jersey, West Virginia, Massachusetts, Alaska and Hawaii
And, of course, the Andromeda Galaxy.
